For instance, you can eat chicken, heavy cream, salmon, even butter, beef, along with the vegetables that are grown above the ground. This ensures you don’t have to starve yourself or satisfy your hunger with boring meals. You have plenty of options to go along.

As a replacement of electrolyte, don’t switch onto energy drinks with high sugar constituents or even diet Gatorade.

  4. One other thing that distinguishes KETO DIET from other diet regimes is that you are allowed to eat healthy fats. Fat is one nutrient which is one rich source of energy. Also, it is known as “brain food” as it provides humans with more clarified mental skills. Animal fats (try on switching to grass-fed animals), coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, MCT oil, avocado oil, are some rich sources of healthy fats.

  5. Another thing to be very considerate about during Keto diet is to not to consume chemically laden sweeteners. You can use some healthy and natural alternative sweeteners like Stevia. It is beneficial and can satisfy your cravings for something sweet.

  6. A low-fat food is also a big “NO-NO”. People following Keto diet are advised to avoid low fat or fat-free cheese or yogurt. Instead, they are advised to switch onto plenty of healthy fats along with full-fat cheese. With no sugar, you can even enjoy a full-fat yogurt.

  7. To complete the need for proteins in the body, you can eat organic, grass-fed or pasture raised meat. The best thing is you can have meat in moderate amount as it doesn’t have any added sugar in it.

  8. Another thing like any other diet, Keto also emphasize water intake. You can have plenty of water and you can even add a little lemon or lime juice or Stevia based flavorings for a little change.
